This is my new obsession: L'occitane new limited edition cherry blossom for 2019, Cerisier Irise. I bought myself the travel size package, contains the body milk, shower gel, eau de toilette, and hand cream. Along with that, I also purchased the full size bottle of the body milk and eau de toilette.
I honestly don't really like the regular L'occitane cherry blossom (I prefer the almond range). But this one smells extremely good! It's so delicate, soothing, and there is nothing from the scent that makes me cringe even a little. The whole collection is only lightly scented, but lasts for a long day.
That makes me really happy because my boyfriend is not a big fan of strong fragrance. He dislikes my high-end branded perfume because it smells so strong and makes him dizzy. But he totally approves of this L'occitane Cerisier Irise! 🌸
I'm not an expert in fragrance so I don't know how to explain the top, middle, and base notes. It definitely has floral and citrus scent, but they blend so well so that you don't really care what it smells like anymore as long as you smell so good with it!
I would give it a 10/10. It doesn't have any con in my opinion. The only downside is that it'll only be here for a limited time, so what should I wear if it's gone?? I have to find another scent that's perfectly suitable for me and my boyfriend. But I heard L'occitane regularly releases a different version of cherry blossom every year, so I'll check it out next year if there is one. 😉
