Dior and Rare Beauty blushes

It's been more than a year since the last time I posted 😲 *gasps. My skincare and makeup collections have increased, but I just don't have the time and energy to make a post, lol. I'll try to post and review stuff more often..

Let's start with these wonderful blushes. I usually buy a pair of cool and warm toned variant of the same makeup products (because I just can't stand not having them when I want to use different colour! :p).

The top two powder blushes are Dior Rosy Glow Blush in (01) Pink and (04) Coral. I heard it went viral in TikTok and it's been sold out everywhere since then (but I wouldn't have any idea because I don't play TikTok). The Pink colour is so nice to give you soft rosy cheeks. The Coral one is also nice because it compliments my warm skin tone so much! (I was surprised looking at the packaging of the Coral one; I thought it is very orange, but don't worry, when you open it the colour is indeed peachy coral). I love how subtle the colour and build-able the formula is. I usually build it 2x to make the colour visible beautifully on my skin (I tried to add one more layer but my cheeks became too unnaturally pink, so no).

They have slight shimmer.

And then, there is the highly pigmented Rare Beauty liquid blush. Warning, do not underestimate how pigmented it is! I attended an online Rare Beauty Masterclass presented by Selena Gomez's global stylist, Cynthia Di Meo, and she said that Selena always wants to do makeup quickly, doesn't want to spend too much time doing makeup, so that's why she likes her products to be very pigmented. Anyway, I bought them in Grace and Joy colour. When I first saw Grace at Sephora, I didn't like it because I thought it's too purple to my liking and I wouldn't look good in that colour. But most of the blushes are sold out (they are THAT popular), so I tried Grace anyway. Just a dot, using the tip of the applicator, but there was A LOT of product on my cheek. I quickly transferred some of it to my other cheek and tried to blend it with my fingers as much as possible, and it turned out to be a very beautiful shade of blush ❤️ I was happy. As for Joy, I just like it because it's warm toned. My sister said it's too orange, but again, when blended out it appears soft and looks nice on my skin.

Grace is matte, Joy gives a more glowing look.

These are the swatches!

As you can see, Rare Beauty is soooo pigmented! But when blended, trust me, it became soft and similar to the Dior ones, too.

Which one is your favourite?
