Swatches Compare and Review: Canmake vs Innisfree Vintage Highlighter

Hi, today I will compare swatches between Canmake and Innisfree highlighters.

I've owned the Canmake for a very long time. It's always been my favourite. But I have no use of the pink and brown eyeshadow that comes with it (though I use the brown eyeshadow a few times to contour my nose). I tried to find other highlighters to replace it but I haven't found one that suits me better..

..until now after Innisfree released Vintage Highlighters Limited Edition! And it comes in 3 shades as well so I'm really excited to try it!

The first colour of the Innisfree highlighters is translucent. I'd say that it's pretty much identical with the Canmake one. If there's any difference, it's probably just a tiiiiiny bit and you won't even notice. I'll show you the swatches at the end of this post.

The second colour of the Innisfree highlighters is bronze. When looking at the products itself, actually it seems as if it has the same colour as Canmake. But when applied on the skin, Canmake is translucent/white, while the Innisfree is bronze and it is really obvious.

The last one of the Innisfree highlighters has pink shade. I personally think it's not much different from the translucent one, but it just gives an additional hint of pink on top of the shimmers.

I truly like these highlighters. I think they're really worth it especially since it's a limited edition. The price is only AU$ 25 for the 3 colours inside, and it's easy to carry (the packaging is cute too). I also love how they have solid powdery texture (because creamy highlighter could never work on me), so I am now confident to say this is now my go-to highlighter!

Here's the swatches! On the left hand side is the Canmake. On the right hand side, top to bottom, is the Innisfree with translucent, bronze, and pink shade. Have a look~

And my eyes look bigger when I put the highlighter under my eyes. Nice!

Hope it can help you to decide whether you want to buy it or not 😉
