Innisfree: goodies from Sydney store grand opening 2019

HelloπŸ’š I just came back from Innisfree grand opening for its first store in Sydney. So glad that it's finally available in the city that I'm currently residing at, so I don't need to bring so many from my home country πŸ˜…

For the grand opening promotion, the first 1000 people who spend $50 will get free goodies, with additional VIP vouchers for the first 100 people. I couldn't get into the first 100 because by the time I got there, about 300 people we're already queuing! They had been there since 2 hours before the doors even opened 😲 wow! But I did manage to be one of the 1000 people.

My plan was to come and buy the pressed powder (remember my last post?), which costs $20 each, so I'm buying 3 of those. The rest of the stuff in the picture? FREE!!

I'm most excited for the Most-Wanted Kit, consists of Green Tea Seed Serum, Jeju Orchid Enriched Cream, and Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask, all in mini size. I've been hearing good reviews about the Green Tea Serum and wanted to try it out, so this is perfect. I'm also interested in their Jeju Orchid line as people said it's more moisturising and making your skin more dewy.

The store also kindly gave eco tote bag and heaps of samples / sheet mask. I love their green tea range and my boyfriend loves putting aloe vera on his face, so we can totally use these sheet masks, LOL.

I'm planning to come back and buy more stuff as my birthday month is approaching and I can get double points for purchase. The marketing manager, Nikki, was there and she was so nice and very engaging with all customers who had been lining up since morning. She even offered bottled water to some of us, which was nice. ^_^ Thank you Innisfree Australia for a pleasant day and congrats for the successful grand opening!

Compact Powder: Sailor Moon + Innisfree

Hi hi~ This time I'm gonna show you my favorite compact powder and how to refill it with something more affordable πŸ˜‰

So this is my Miracle Romance Sailor Moon Powder Flat Style. It's just like the exact replica of Crystal Star, the item Sailor Moon uses to transform. Beyond pretty, I know. I love it so much! 😍 I bought it for AU$75 last time. The down side is, the refill costs at least AU$50! And I don't even know if they will keep producing it. So I've been searching for a cheaper alternatives..

Then I found Innisfree Mineral Ultrafine Pact! The last time I checked, they didn't have the refill, so I just purchased the actual compact with mirror, shade #21 which suits my skin tone best. It is less than AU$25 and Innisfree is a well-known Korean beauty brand, so I trust their ingredients.

They have the same pan size, which is 54mm diameter. So I can just push the pan from the small hole on the bottom, and voila!

My favourite Sailor Moon compact is full and ready to be used again! πŸ’•
